Sorry to say, but you will just have to wait and see. I am an adult women whose father was about 5'8" and mom is 5'2". I am 5'6". I have 3 sisters who are 5'2",5'2",5'1" respectively. My 2 brothers are 5'7" and 5'8". So you see I fall somewhere in the middle and I am the tallest girl in our family. By the way at 47 years old I am also the youngest girl of my moms daughters, although I am older than both my brothers.

My twin daughters are now 4'11" at 13 years old. Almost ever other child in there class has always been larger than them, and also developed much sooner. I wondered if they would stay real tiny until this past year. One jumped 4 clothing sizes and the other jumped 5 clothing sizes in-get this-a little over a year.Girls have major growth spurts from the ages of 10-14 and continue growing and filling out until 18 or 19. Boys on the other hand usually start there growth spurts later-13 or so- and quickly, in most cases ,shoot right up past all those girls that towered over them for so long.

Just a piece of advice. Don't worry about being too tall or too short or too thin or too chunky. Concentrate on being healthy, active ,kind and treasure being you. Genetics are funny in that short parents can have tall children and tall parents can have short children. Look at all the red headed children born to those who dan't have red hair.

If you are seriOSly concerned about this try looking up puberty on the internet. Alot of the information will be what the average this-or that is but it will probably help you see that your growth pattern in within the norm.

Since I may not get back to this sight again I will say I hope my (or someone elses answer) will be of benefit to you.
