Who was the king or queen in 1930?

There has not been a Queen (or King) of England for over 300 years. England is a part of, but not the same as, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Between 1837 and 1901 the British monarch was Queen Victoria. She was Queen of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Her husband, Prince Albert, was her Prince Consort, not the King.
