What schools would you need to attend to become a pediatrician?

There is no one best educational institution to go to in order to become a pediatrician. Each program has its strengths, weaknesses, and different physicians will find that they fit in better at different programs. A pediatrician is a medical physician, who has completed the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree program after four years of medical school and has also completed additional years of specialized residency training in the treatment and diagnosis of children's illnesses.
