How do you distract Spencer on my sims kingdom for Wii?

You put a computer, right near the gate, then you connect it with the gears you used to lift the gate, to power it up! You will need to power up both the sockets. Then, Spencer should go to the computer, and you should be able to complete the quest for Daniel!
