Can you do split screen multiplayer on borderlands?

yes-you can play splitscreen but only on the same Xbox 360

no you can not have a splitscreen game over xbox live(which would be pointless)

and no you can not have 2 playing splitscreen and 1 over xbox live to make 3 or more in a game
