An osteologist can tell if you got a lot of sunlight or Vitamin D in your diet by looking at your bones. Their studies help to recognize structural differences in every kind of bone too, not just human bones and their research helps in furthering anthropological studies, crime solving techniques, archealogical findings can be better understood and modern medical developments and treatment techniques.
