Why do you like cross stitch?

I like the cross stitch because the pattern looks nice when it's all in a one line and it has an effect as it goes well with different colours and it looks nice with anything, for example: writing something with it eg. your name, doing a pattern with it and doing a casual stitch for example a straight line.
