It depends! An all metal rig is generally pretty safe; after all you are essentially in a Faraday Cage. Some things to remember though. If you have jacks on your rig, make sure they are up and the power cord is disconnected (and stored) not just thrown under the coach. Turn off your generator and make sure all Windows are closed. (there will be enough metal around the Windows and in the Windows to provide good protection) Don't touch any metal in the coach and stay out of the shower. It is best to set with your hands in your lap (don't touch anything) If your rig is made of fiberglass with a wood frame, then your not very well protected, but better than being outside. If it is made of fiberglass, but has a metal frame that would be much better and should offer a decent level of protection. Pop-up trailer are definitely not safe.
