Who invented the rubber hose in 1871?

Charles Goodyear (USA),

in 1839 discovered the vulcanization process for rubber. In 1871 B.F.

Goodrich developed rubber hose reinforced with cotton ply. The Cincinnati Fire Department was one of the first to use this hose. Note: Vulcanized rubber.
