What transporting methods should you use if the victim has a back injury?

The patient should be transported using C-Spine precautions. This involves holding the patient's head in a neutral position and placing a C collar on them. They should then be log rolled and a spine board put under them and rolled back down flat. They should then be strapped or taped to the board. During this whole procedure the spine should be kept in a neutral position and special training is necessary to perform these acts correctly and safely.
