Who created the Doric column?

The Doric column, one of the classical orders of ancient Greek architecture, is attributed to the Greeks, particularly in the regions of the Dorian tribes. It emerged around the 7th century BCE and is characterized by its sturdy, fluted shaft and simple, unadorned capital. While no single individual can be credited with its creation, its development is a result of the collective architectural innovations of the period.
