How To Use Sorcery In Dark Souls?

To use Sorceries in Dark Souls, first you need to purchase the spells, these get added to your inventory. Next you need to attune them, which is done with that option at a bonfire - you have a number of 'slots' to which spells can be equipped, and more powerful spells can take up more than one slot. The number of slots availablr can be increased by items, but primarily by putting points into your Attunement stat.

Once attuned, you can press up on the controller to cycle through the spells. Next you need a Catalyst, this includes various staves. Equipping the catalyst will allow you to cast the chosen spell by pressing the corresponding shoulder button. Hitting the trigger button makes you peform a melee attack with the catalyst.
