Where did under armor started?

Under Armour was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank in Washington, D.C. The company began with the development of moisture-wicking athletic shirts designed to keep players dry and comfortable during sports. Plank initially operated the business from his grandmother's basement before eventually moving to Baltimore, Maryland, where it grew into a major sports apparel brand.
