Eating while on Mount
Everest is very important. Here is a list of the sort of foods that
are eaten on the mountain.
Main Food eaten at
Base Camp and Camp 1 would include:
Local Fresh
Vegetables, Pasta, Salads, Rice, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Omelette,
Potato dishes, Eggs on Toast, Rice Pudding, Bacon, Pizza, Chips,
Lasagne, Porridge, Muesli, Dal bhat (steamed rice and lentil soup),
Cheese, Olives, Gherkins, Pate, Crackers.
Snacks for higher up
the mountain:
Cadbury Fudge Bars,
Fizzy Cola Bottles, Tangfastics, Tunnocks Bars, Liquorice Wands,
Chilli and other types of Peanuts, Pork Scratching, Crisp, Mocha
Sachets, Chocolate.
