How many hours does a csi work per week?

To start with, try to remember that the people on TV are actors, reading lines on a script,and getting paid far more than any CSI, that works for a government agency. Like any government employee, you are given a salary that someone decided is enough for the amount of work you do and the amount of education that they require. Most CSI's don't carry guns, ride around in marked police vehicles with flashing lights and siren, and they NEVER conduct interviews and interrogations with suspects. Most CSI's either gather evidence in the field, or work in a lab 8 hours a day.
