Lipids (that's fats/oils) are composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen.

Carbohydrates are composed of carbon, hydrogen oxygen (just in a different ratio to lipids).

However, amino acids are composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, AND nitrogen.
