What were the results of the election of 1860?

Abraham Lincoln won the election, but only received 40 percent of the popular vote. The interesting fact was between Douglas and Breckinridge both were democrats and combined had a 47 percent popular vote but since both were democtrats that's why a democrat failed to win the election of 1860.
