Blue stars burn their nuclear fuel much faster, leading to shorter lifespans, often only a few million years, whereas the Sun has a lifespan of about 10 billion years. Additionally, blue stars emit more light and energy, often appearing much brighter than the Sun, which is classified as a yellow dwarf.
