How do you get the workbench on the Sims 2 Castaway?

To get the workbench on the Sims 2 Castaway, on the first beach near the trees their will be two stones. You need to put a plank off wood on it by picking up some wood, walking over to the stones, and press, make workbench. Hope I helped :)
