Yes there is a slight difference.

They both give human characteristics to something that's not human BUT

personification is for things like; wind, chair, table, rain, THINGS and

anthropomorphism is for things like; elf, ogre, GOD (a lot!) and more like creatures or imaginery and things along those lines
