How do you Change rear tire on 2004 Yamaha v star classic 1100?

your bike is shaft driven so they are eaiser than chain or belt driven motorcycles. just remove brake lever that goes to rear wheel ,but just the end on the rear brake drum.then remove cotter pin and axle nut. remove axle the tire pulls out and off. when putting back on just side tire back between forks lift push forward ,replace axle, spin tire to assure splines align to together you 'll know when they seat. the gears mesh to together. real easy. axle ,axle nut , tighten accordinly replace cotter pin ,then rear brake lever keeping a eye on where the needle points to when removed.this is a brake lever indicator adjustment. your done
