Can a 17 year old be kicked out of house?

If the teen is not contributing to the household and acting like a member of the family, then it certainly would certainly make sense to relocate the teen. However, most parents would rather sort things out--compromise--in the sense that the teen would behave, be polite to parents and siblings, not do drugs, make curfew, attend school and make good grades, and so on. They are not on the hook to support the teen if the teen moves out.
