What could cause no electrical current to a 1996 Mazda B4000 Battery is new and fine Won't start and no lights?

check and make sure the battery is fully charged. check and make sure all battery connections are tight. check and make sure ground wire is tightly connected to the engine block. check and make sure poitive wire is tightly connected to relay/ starter.
