It depends on how old the person taking it is and what kind of medicine it is. I use Advil and Tylenol Adult and both of them last anywhere between 4 and 7 hours and then you must wait at least another hour before taking more. Follow the back of the box on most medicines to see how much you or your child needs to take. Feel better soon.
