What lifters goes in this block 14093638 v1223pha 638 gm 5.7l sgi?

Well....you have many choices for this block. You can run the standard flat tappet hydraulic lifter like those found in millions of GM passenger cars around the world. You can also use solid flat tappet lifters designed for many small block Chevrolets in the 60s. You also have the advantage of using GM factory roller lifters if you have the rest of the roller retainer setup from a junkyard motor. (You can buy the setup brand new as well.) If running factory roller, you will have to run a special timing chain set made for this application and shorter pushrods. I wish i had part #'s in front of me but there's nothing special for these blocks. I've built both flat tappet and roller motors with them. If you're lucky you might even get one with the fuel pump rod pre drilled and/or 4 bolt mains. That's something to look for if you want to run the mechanical fuel pump. Good luck!!
