Who are the most respected Christian prophets today?

A prophet is a spokesperson for God, chosen by God to deliver a message or warning. It was communicated in a number of different ways such as dreams, visions, a voice. Prophets had no choice about delivering the message. The scriptures gives no indication who is the most important prophet. Jesus, the Messiah, referred to John the baptizer as greatest born of women but the gospel according to Matthew says,

"Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisenanyonegreater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who isleast in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." Matthew 11:11 NASB
