What problems did Samuel de Champlain face?

He faced many things: no water on some of his voyages, wars, lack of newer technology, harsh winters, sickness killed 28% of 70 settlers, and last Samuel died in 1635 on Christmas Day, 2 years after the peace treaty signed in 1633.
