Was Mordecai Esther's cousin or uncle?

The Scripture does not mention his name. It only mentions her older cousin Mordecai and her father Abihail in Esther 2:15:

7AndMordecaihad brought up Hadassah, thatis,Esther, his uncle’s daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. The young womanwaslovely and beautiful. When her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter.
