How do you wash bejeweled jeans like miss me or LA Idol?

My pants have a lot of those rinestones and stuff on the pockets so just turn them inside out for both the dryer and washer just put the settings on gentle for both as well . My mother accidentally washed my jeans without turning them inside out and my jeans were just fine , but i still do it just in case.:{P
