Can political science exist without ideology?

Political science can be studied without ideology, as it can focus on empirical analysis, systematic observation, and the examination of political behavior, institutions, and systems. However, ideology often shapes the questions researchers ask and the frameworks they use, making it difficult to completely detach the discipline from ideological perspectives.
