Explain How can the internet be use as a teaching tool in the classroom?

This is all dependant upon the age grouping of the students and the safety settings set by the administrator (school or teacher restrictions on type or content of sites).

1. The internet can be a tool that can be used as a "how to research" research tool. Set a task to be researched. Explain and explore the research potential and limitations of internet research.(for older students how do you reference the material in your research)

2.Set tasks to be fulfilled by a set deadline for a project to be completed i.e. 30mins total but clearly define internet research time as being 10mins of this time and 20mins as writing the project work. This prevents students from using the resource for personal resaons for all or part of the full 30min time session.
