Front offices in a school are vital to the culture of the school. Their duties include:
- Set the professional, warm and calm tone for all visitors, employees at school.
- Greeting parents, students, in person and directing them to correct staff members.
- Providing professional, and friendly information over the telephone and directing phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Keeping accurate records of all school documents.
- Monitor student absence line, employee absent line and documenting this information to Pupil Acct., or EE absence for substitutes (if needed).
- Providing copying services to admin staff, creating brochures, etc., certificates, producing progress & report cards from student information systems.
- Creating signage, advertising for meetings, conferences and school events.
