In 1 Corinthians 11 why did Jesus say if you are hungry go home and eat?

1 Corinthians 11:22, 34 - What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come. [NKJV] Jesus is not the speaker; these are the Words of the Apostle Paul. It was necessary for him to correct the Corinthians over their improper attitude and approach to the Lord's Supper. They were treating it like a common meal instead of the solemn remembrance it is intended to be. Paul explains this to them in verses 23-33.
