How do you get tabs on your computer?

Step 1

Open internet Explorer. First, click on the Internet Explorer icon. If your homepage is your email account, click on the TOOLS link and scroll down to Internet Options.

Step 2

Click on Settings in the TAB section. Once in the Internet Options, stay in GENERAL tab and scroll down to TABS and click on SETTINGS.

Step 3

Under Tabbed Browsing Settings, check Enable Quick Tabs, Open New Tabs Next to the Current Tabs, Always Open Pop-ups in New Window and a new tab in current window.

Step 4

That was easy--and now all your web browsing will be in one open window and all ads and other web pages will be shown as tabs, not another open window.
