How do you get a guy not to tell his friends you like him?

There's not much you can do. He is either the strong silent type or a big mouth. The only silly thing you can do is tell him you do but, you seeing someone and you want to break it off so, if he could not tell anyone until you do. That you really like him but, need to do things your way. But, you don't want him to think your a cheater. If you like the guy, it is a good way to know that he likes you back if you goes bragging to his Friends about your liking him.
