i used to have a 88 shadow and wrecked it. i found a 96 mod tank that actually bolted up the exact same mounting brackets and bolts but the tank was a little different shape. i don't think they have changed much on the shadow 600 since they started. maybe some stylings but not the frame. i took a chance on mine and it worked but i cant guarantee any fitment past 96.
