An echo is like a sonar because they both reflct the sound they cause.

The sonar is useful to the navy army to find out where the lost ships are located, so basically they are navigating the exact location of ships and sumbarines.

An echo as you can see can be most used when screaming in the gym or an enormous place with no one in there.
