How long did it take to mummify animals?

On average it would take 30 minutes but with the acient folks it would take well over a day. They would have to mourn over the animal and then have the animal parade where peoiple would dress up like the animal. The would bury the animal with gold and jewels. In the later years burglers woulddig up these animals for their jewels. They would mostly bury house cats, dogs, and their work horses. Sometimes you will find a camal or a pet monkey.
