How do you repair brake light problem on 1995 Honda ex when the brake lights wont turn off even when the car is turned off?

There is a switch located on the brake pedal that is most likely causing the problem. Re-adjust the switch if it's out of adjustment or if it is broken disconnect it until you can get a replacement. Just remember your brake lights won't work at all without the switch.
