Does Blue Cross Blue Shield cover counseling?

It isn't up to the Carrier, for example Blue Cross or Aetna to cover it unless you are on an Individual Policy.

You have to check with your Employer or Group plan to see if it is a covered benefit.

While there has been recent legislation governing the parity of counseling benefits, it stopped short of requiring employers to cover it.

So it is up to each employer to decide if they want to offer those benefits or not.

Try calling the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card they will be able to tell you if your plan covers that or not and how it is covered.
