A back handspring takes muscles in your upper arms, core, and thighs, and possibly lower arms and legs, too. Just because you don't think you're very strong in these areas, however, doesn't mean you can't do the handspring, because you develop the necessary flexibility and strength when you start to learn and practice for the move.
