Can you use 10 year old paint?

As long as the paint is in a well sealed can, and has not been frozen or contaminated it should be alright. It will need shaking as the pigments tend to settle while it sits. Have the can shaken at your local paint retailer, then open it carefully. if there are no foul odours, masses of congealed matter of other problems, go ahead and use it.
