Where is Sriharikota?

Sriharikota where ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) has its space vehicle launch site also called Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), is located at 80 km north of Chennai (Madras) on the east coast of India in Bay of Bengal. Recent moon probe Chandrayaan-1 was also launched by India from this site.
