How do you change the highmount brake light blub on a Freestar?

To change the high mount brake light bulb on a Ford Freestar, first, open the rear hatch and locate the plastic cover at the top of the hatch door. Remove the cover by gently prying it off or unscrewing it, depending on the model year. Once exposed, twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, then pull out the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Reinsert the socket, twist it back into place, and reattach the plastic cover.
