The oceans are still vast and unexplored as they are so huge. The central African Swamp in the Congo has only ever been 20% explored and it is rumored to contain living dinosaurs! There is actually unexplored lands everywhere. Its just that most peopel use regular means of transportation these days so places in between roads and highways get forgotten. This is why the legendary Bigfoot is still an undocumented animal - it keeps to the wilderness for the most part. The Sahara dessert and the Arctic Siberia regions also host unknown and rarely seen places, as well as the mountains of all continents. There are some mountain valleys today, in every continent, that may never have seen a human being yet!
