Reaction or reflection about the Jose Rizal?

Jose Rizal was Filipino revolutionary and author of essays and poems. Most notable is the 'Indolence of the Filipinos' and he exposes Spanish oppression on his countrymen. Rizal stood out as a courageous man and he was a true compatriot. The downtrodden and passive Filipinos needed a man like Rizal to awaken a spirit of strength and resistance.
