Does ea still sell the sims 2 games?

As of now, EA no longer sells The Sims 2 as a standalone product. However, they released The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free for a limited time in 2014, which included the base game and all expansions and stuff packs. Though the game is not available for purchase, players can still find it through various gaming platforms or community sites.
