How many Dutch people died in World War 2?

Approximately 200,000 Dutch people died as a result of World War II, including around 100,000 Jews who were deported and murdered during the Holocaust. Additionally, military personnel and resistance fighters, as well as civilians affected by the war and its aftermath, contributed to this tragic toll. The occupation of the Netherlands by Nazi Germany from 1940 to 1945 significantly impacted the population.
