Who does the legislative branch include?

(In the US) The Legislature branch consists of the House of Represenatives and the Senate. Both have to pass approve a new law. The distribution of the members of the House are based on the population of each State. The Senate is based on two members from each State.

Added: Additionally (in the US) - each state has its own legislative body - some are bi-cameral bodies and several are uni-cameral. Also - Counties and municipalities with their own governing bodies have their own legislative bodies.
