From inside to the outside, in chronological order as they attach to / lead to each other:

  1. Two ovaries, right and left. Ovaries contain eggs.
  2. Two Fallopian Tubes, right an left sides. The tubes do not touch the ovaries, but are very close. The tube on one side (whichever side that released the egg that month) picks up a released egg.
  3. Each tube connects to the uterus, e.g. the womb.
  4. The bottom of the uterus ends with the cervix. The cervix partly sits at the top, inside the vagina. The cervix has a slit through which menstrual blood flows, or where sperm can swim through into the uterus.
  5. The vagina, which is about 4-5 inches of a smooth muscular "tube".
  6. Above the vagina on the outside is the urethra---part of the urinary system. It sits inside the inner labia.
  7. Above the uretha but inside the outer labia, sits the clitoris. The clitoris is the most sensitive of the female anatomy.
  8. The soft tissues around the outer structures is called the vulva. It is mostly covered by hair.
  9. Though technically not part of the reproductive system, the mons is the soft hair covered padding that sits over the pubic bone.
  10. The entire outside structures for both males and females is called the genital area or the privates.
